Are you sure your cannabis hygrometer is telling the truth? Is your weed really between 58-62% RH? Hygrometers are finicky and must be calibrated to provide accurate readings.

If not, the RH could climb above 65% RH or plummet below 55% RH and you'd never know. The wrong RH puts cannabis at risk for moldy weed, overly-dry weed, terpene loss and trichome damage. Even hours outside the ideal RH range matter.

Use this 75% RH Calibration Kit to:
  • Get an accurate RH reading in just 24 hours
  • Calibrate a new humidity sensor, digital hygrometer or analog hygrometer—even if it claims to be pre-calibrated, it will be inaccurate
  • Re-calibrate each hygrometer or sensor every six months

Calibrate a hygrometer more often if you struggle with:

  • Low or high RH readings
  • Blowing through Boveda in less than two months
  • Maintaining steady RH in a cannabis container

    R/H digital guage

It worked great to calibrate my R/H digital gauge (75%).

However, I have a problem keeping the R/H between 68 & 72%. I did the necessary 2 week charge up with the 2 bags supplied. After that it starts out fine around 72% for maybe a week or two but then slowly over the next couple weeks R/H drops to around 62%. Do not know why????

I thought buying the Boveda humidor with the Boveda two-way 69% / 320-gram bag was supposed to keep R/H between 68 and 72%? I live in Phoenix, AZ which has a little too low humidity. What do you suggest I do to keep the R/H between 68-72% for at least 2 - 3 months which was advertised in the description that it would keep it somewhat constant. This was the reason my wife purchased it for me for my birthday.

Thank you, Bryan Clausius - email: *****

Thank you so much for your great questions, Richard! We appreciate you trusting Boveda to protect your valuable collection.

To ensure you have the very best experience with our two-way humidity control, we'd like to reinforce a few key points for all Boveda users:
Avoid Mixing RH Levels: For consistent performance, never mix Boveda packets of different Relative Humidity (RH) levels in the same humidor. Choose one RH level (e.g., 65%, 69%, 72%) and use only that level throughout your humidor to achieve that precise environment.
Hygrometer Accuracy: Please remember that even after calibration, hygrometers have a range of accuracy. Boveda is guaranteed to maintain the RH level printed on the packet, but your hygrometer reading may vary slightly depending on its age, model, and calibration. Trust the Boveda.
