Hygrometer Calibration Kit (75% RH)

Use this 75% RH Calibration Kit to:
- Replace the messy, inaccurate bottle cap salt test
- Get an accurate RH reading in just 24 hours
- Calibrate a new humidity sensor, digital hygrometer, or analog hygrometer—even if it claims to be pre-calibrated, it will be inaccurate
- Re-calibrate each hygrometer or sensor every six (6) months
HOW TO USE:
- Place your hygrometer/sensor inside the kit and completely reclose the zipper.
- Allow the kit to sit for a minimum of 24 hours at a room temperature between 65 and 75°F.
- Check the reading of the hygrometer/sensor:
- If the reading is 75% RH, this calibration is complete.
- If the reading is higher or lower than 75% RH: Note the difference as the margin of error for future readings. Or manually adjust your settings to 75% RH and repeat the above three (3) steps.
- Reclose the bag with the Boveda packet inside to reuse the kit within three (3) months.
- Recalibrate your hygrometer every six (6) months to keep it performing effectively.
- DO NOT mix different RH (Relative Humidity) levels within the same humidor.
- DO NOT use Boveda in the same humidor with other humidification products because they'll counteract each other, and reduce the efficiency of the Boveda.
PACKAGING:
The B75 Boveda (75% RH) is not individually wrapped inside the resealable high-barrier heavy-duty plastic bag, which has a zip closure.
LIFESPAN:
- Opened: Three (3) months
- Unopened Kit: Up to two (2) years
Boveda maintains inside relative humidity (RH) of +/-2% when using the recommended number of packets. Factors that adversely affect the expected results include a drafty humidor and/or extreme dry ambient conditions.
INGREDIENTS:
Food-grade salt, purified water, and a food-grade thickening agent.

Very easy to use. Threw a govee mini hygrometer in there for 72 hours. First two days the reading slowly kept increasing. On the third day it stopped moving and consistently stayed at 73 so I calibrated the govee on the app +2. Just ordered a second one for another hygrometer. No mess, no calculating salt, just simple and clean.

I was pleased with the ability to calibrate my hygrometers at the 75% level. The kit was effective.
However, the seal on the resealable bag separated from the surface of the calibration bag after opening and closing about 3 times. I ended up multi-folding and clipping the bag closed for calibration use. The lack of a working seal on the bag means it will not last 3 months for re-use.
