Legal cannabis, about time. Women-led companies, really about time!
Female executives have often had a hard time reaching the highest levels within other industries. The green rush is a massive boom not seen since the dot com era. WOMAN TO WATCH IN THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY
Alison Gordon, CEO of 48North, is the first female leader of a publicly traded cannabis company in Canada. Now she’s striving to be a role model for others thanks in part to the company’s strong female-focused brand.
“As more women come into different roles in the industry, they will rise through the ranks and it will be great,” Alison said in an interview for Medium. 48North is a future-focused cannabis company, which centers on the innovative products and brands in the female health and wellness cannabis market. The company recently launched a scholarship program for aspiring female business leaders.
